MEET RAY

LIVE FREE OR DIE.

Ray Plante was born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate NY where he earned his Bachelor of Science from SUNY Plattsburgh and completed Army ROTC at the University of Vermont. Ray enlisted in the Army National Guard aged 17 as a Military Police Officer. After graduation from college and commissioning as an Army Officer, he completed Army Flight School aged 21 flying UH60 Blackhawks. Since then, Ray has held various positions throughout the Army National Guard for over 18 years to include both domestic as well as overseas deployment. Ray still currently serves as the Brigade Aviation Officer for the 86th IBCT in Vermont where he provides expertise in Aviaiton Operations and employment.

Ray moved to the Great State of New Hampshire in 2017 and works full-time as an Airbus A220 Pilot for JetBlue out of Boston’s Logan Airport. Ray is a Lifetime Member of the NRA and a Trustee of the Trust Funds for the Town of Dunbarton, NH, where he resides.

Ray is running for State Representative for Merrimack County’s 27th District, representing the towns of Dunbarton, Hooksett, Allenstown, and Epsom. Ray believes in the New Hampshire Advantage and pledges to vote against any and all income or sales tax. Ray has a strong voice for Constitutional Carry, protecting the Second Amendment, less regulation in firearms, and is also a member of Pioneer Sportsmen in Dunbarton.

When Ray is not flying, he enjoys traveling, hunting, shooting, archery, and anything that gets him outside or in the woods. Ray has been a delegate to the NH GOP and a member of the Merrimack County Republican Party.
